Lacrosse skills & drills programs for children ages 4-8!Our activities are non-competitive, instructional programs based on learning through play.  Children will participate in skill-drills and fun activities that help establish and reinforce the fundamentals of lacrosse. This is a NON-CONTACT, skill based program which uses tennis balls for practice. Helmets, goggles, gloves and pads are not required. Only a mouth guard and a Lacrosse Stick is required.Mini-Styx:  - Great way to introduce your child to lacrosse without the pressure of competition!  - Passing, stick handling and ball handling are emphasized with soft lacrosse balls.   - Skills are taught through fun, engaging games to keep kids active and excited to learn!All participants in Mini-Styx Lacrosse should bring a water bottle, and warm clothes on colder days.  No cleats are needed. ***Spring 2021: Masks are required for all participants & spectators.***

John LaRose and David Truex, former collegiate tennis coaches at OCC, will be running a tennis camp series at Santaro Park over the course of the summer! Children ages 5-15, and adults (16+) have the opportunity to get expert level coaching up to 5 weeks this summer!  Camps run *every-other week, all summer long, so sign up for one or all of them!  Children’s lessons will run in the morning (9:00 – 10:00 AM), and adult lessons will be in the evening (6:00 – 7:00 PM). MIN: 10 / Max: 20 (per session)

The Start Smart Baseball Program continues our efforts to bring parents and children ages 4 & 5 together to work on skills such as throwing, catching, batting, and running/agility.  This program helps prepare children for organized baseball and softball in a FUN, non-threatening environment. Each Child receives a bat, 2 balls and a glove. Parents will receive a manual containing at home practice drills.

The Start Smart Baseball Program continues our efforts to bring parents and children ages 4 & 5 together to work on skills such as throwing, catching, batting, and running/agility.  This program helps prepare children for organized baseball and softball in a FUN, non-threatening environment. Each Child receives a bat, 2 balls and a glove. Parents will receive a manual containing at home practice drills.

The Start Smart Baseball Program continues our efforts to bring parents and children ages 4 & 5 together to work on skills such as throwing, catching, batting, and running/agility.  This program helps prepare children for organized baseball and softball in a FUN, non-threatening environment. Each Child receives a bat, 2 balls and a glove. Parents will receive a manual containing at home practice drills.

Our summer playgrounds are six week programs, running from 9:30 - 2:00 PM, at King Park, Santaro Park, and Kelley Park. Children will participate in a variety of activities as well as entertainment and special events. When registering, please make sure that all information you have provided on your account and during registration is correct. Provide two emergency contacts in addition to your own contact information as well as all pertinent medical information about your child (allergies, injuries, medication etc.).*Participant T-Shirts will be handed out on-site.Registration opens on 4/26/21For the summer of 2021, there will be a list of changes to the playground program. This is done to ensure the safety of participants, staff, and their families. Temperature will be taken at drop off each day. All staff and children will need to wear masks. There will be times designated for “mask breaks” for children. All equipment will be designated to a group, and sanitized every day. All surfaces will be sanitized between groups, and at the beginning and end of each day. Group sizes will be limited to 20 children, with a maximum of 60 participants PER SITE. Groups will not intermingle and individuals will not switch between groups. Children will be in the same group for all 6 weeks of the program. We can only accommodate 3 groups at each location to maintain a safe counselor/child ratio. Bathrooms will be cleaned at the beginning and end of program, and as needed throughout the day.

6:00 PM - 6:45 PM    Start Smart Baseball - Start Smart Baseball (Kelley Park)
The Start Smart Baseball Program continues our efforts to bring parents and children ages 4 & 5 together to work on skills such as throwing, catching, batting, and running/agility.  This program helps prepare children for organized baseball and softball in a FUN, non-threatening environment. Each Child receives a bat, 2 balls and a glove. Parents will receive a manual containing at home practice drills.
