Monday – Friday, July 27 - 31
AGES:  5 – 12      TIME:  1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Join Trista Phillipson, a certified Yogakids facilitator, in a WEEK-LONG learning adventure with Yoga as the pathway.  Children will spend time each day practicing flexibility, mindfulness and fun.  They will learn skills while they grow strong and flexible on all levels.  Dress comfortably. Mats and art supplies provided. **Please note, first class will be upstairs in the multi-use room.** MIN: 12/MAX: 16

 
Reminder: A $10 fee is added 1 week before the program begins.

Yoga for children ages 5-12!
"Yoga and mindfulness have been shown to improve both physical and mental health in school-age children (ages  5 to 12). Yoga improves balance, strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity in children. Yoga and mindfulness offer psychological benefits for children as well. A growing body of research has already shown that yoga can improve focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, and classroom behavior, and can even reduce anxiety and stress in children."
